Shattered Elbow Caregivers Group 130807

PostOp Update 130807: So, yeah, after sleeping the morning away, what is a man to do?

My work wives Nance and Kitty brought Taco Tuesday to the apartment for lunch. Good to catch up with them. Tried some reading, got through a couple pages and woke up two hours later. Phone calls from Bethany Schatz, from Mike Eberle, and from June Miller. They were in the Twin Cities over the weekend, and there were no accidents (-;

Today's plans include scrubbing the tub, shower and shave, and Nancy from work will pick me up for an Open House at work this evening for the owner of our company, Larry Berget's 70th Birthday.

Inspiration and Blessing 130807: For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. O LORD of Heaven's Armies, what joy for those who trust in you. — Psalm 84:11-12

Request List 130807:
I have a stocked fridge that could use some organizing and/or help consuming leftovers;
A daily walk to the parking lot, or something to help me keep active...

    Doc Report Addendum 130806: I am to continue using the cane when out and about and in public for additional stability, and to force me to slow down; I am not allowed to drive until the brace is gone, and the brace is with me until Physical Therapy determines the elbow is strong enough without it. Whee.

    P.S. Not all introverts look forward with gleeful excitement to three weeks of forced home-stay. I still need my human interaction recharging consistently randomly. Spontaneous hugs or cuddles more than welcome.

    Ok, I know I have crossed the personal line with asking for help with shower shaving duties, but please allow me to put another one on the table. There are times I wish for someone to just simply hold me, just for the sake of human contact.
