Shattered Elbow Caregivers Group 130805
PostOp Update 130805: So, well, that wasn't a pleasant night of slumber.
I managed through Sunday without a hydrocodone, but had to at six p.m. Then I was startled awake at two in the morn in need of another. Uff da.
I succeeded in figuring a way to one-handed peanut butter up some bread. Yesterday afternoon, Paul Mindeman stopped by for a visit just as I started watching "Princess Bride". We shared good laughs through that film. Cousin Myra Johnson phoned to take on the task of driving me to the doc appointment. Neighbor Dean brought over a roast beef supper.
My brother Clifford stopped by on his way home to Moorhead. He had been up to Kenny and Kristine's for the weekend, searching for a field stone for Roxie's grave marker. Walked out to the parking lot to see his new truck, and the field stone he had chosen for his wife. In case you didn't know, Cliff shattered both his feet back in the '90s, so he had great encouragement for me.
Dean and I watched a movie. Teresa Chase phoned with Monday supper plans. And now this morning, the doc appointment. Just some nervous tears to be honest. Let's get this day started!
Inspiration and Blessing 130805: I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken. — Psalm 62:1-2

Help Me 130804: I need freedom. Anyone got a wheelchair who wants to wheel me through the Capital Art Affair this afternoon? Walking jostles the elbow pain something awful crazy, plus a wheelchair might give me more cushion room from people bumping into the elbow. — at North Dakota State Capitol Building.
