Shattered Elbow Caregivers Group 130802

Good Morning! My sisters will be here around 11 this morn! C'mon by and pay a visit and meet some of my family!

PostOp Update 130802: Good slumber, set the alarm for the 2 a.m. hydrocodone feeding and the elbow was happier this morn. Leisurely morning. Neighbor Dean Ihla stopped by at lunch to check in, so shared some leftovers with him. Us Norskies love our leftovers! Bethany Schatz and her daughter Elysium stopped by. They took my trash and recyclables to their resting places. They came and we walked the rent check to the rental office, just on the north side of my building. We completed the loop around the building and the elbow was in a hissy fit. After a short visit, the ladies left me to nap with hydrocodone. Erin Hill-Oban stopped by with Taco John's for supper. She stayed for a visit, and filled the ice trays. Later in the evening, Amber Hill and mutual friend Shane from Gold's Gym Bismarck stopped by with the grocery run. What were your words about grocery shopping? Thank you, Amber, for your kindness. Thanks y'all for checking in.

Inspiration and Blessing 130801: “The real meaning of eternal life is a life that can face anything it has to face without wavering. If we will take this view, life will become one great romance—a glorious opportunity of seeing wonderful things all the time.” – Oswald Chambers, from My Utmost for His Highest

Recovery Visual 130801: Inserting glaucoma eyedrops and dabbing them dry. It is recommended to either remain seated or at least in one position while performing this task. Not me. I tried walking towards the trash can as I was dabbing my eyes. Did not see the corner of the wall reach out to introduce itself to the shattered elbow. Yep. That was none too wise.
