Facebook Updates and Progress Reports...

Just a collection of status updates on Facebook along the road of progress...

Early in the Morn, Late to the Realization Observation Ramble 130812: These two journies this year have shown me that I give too much expectation for Facebook friendship validation, when the actual live experience of life lived has truly shown in reality who is authentically there in the real moment. YES, Facebook does have purposes, but for relying upon it for mere cyber validation, especially from those within close geographical proximity, that's just witless. Dedicated to my Life Instigators and Life Lingerers, I really cherish you.

Rambling Journal Entry 130901: I am here to apologize to those who have been rebuffed and wounded by my woe-is-me antics during these two medical things this year where I have lamented that no one is there and I am so alone. I had absolutely no right to do such, when the reality is forcibly right there in my face. I am not alone. Yes, loneliness is there, but I am not alone. You have been there whether via face-to-face, or texts, or phone calls, or just by reading my ramblings. I apologize, and I thank you for your presence. Yes, YOU.

Shattered Elbow Update 130923: How much does a shattered elbow cost? Well, medically it is over $60K thus far, with continued therapy and doc visits ahead. Then there are the expenses my cousin tallied that weekend. Then tally in the costs that friends incurred in doting upon me during that month following. Used my sick days, so there weren't any lost wages. Thankful for bountiful health insurance and supplemental insurance, and for friends and family. If you friend haven't submitted your receipts for all your expenses incurred, please get them to me in due time.

Shattered Elbow Update 131003: Well now, what's this? First time in the ten weeks since The Shattering that the elbow has not been significantly and noticeably in an intense world of hurt when I wake up in the morn. Nice. Still stiff, but not screaming. I will accept this new sensation.

Shattered Elbow Update 130907: As the swelling continues to go, I can start to feel more and more of the metal plates in there, and they are becoming more "visible"...

Rambling Journal Entry 130910: So, since I have limited mobility with the left arm, and really need the right hand for graphic design work, I went and nicked off a bit of the top of my right pointer finger via the paper cutter, which has a guard installed, and you know, a pointer finger is rather necessary for mouse work and typing.... This will be interesting.

140113: That was a good fascia/scar tissue workover -- first time since The Shattering able to scratch my back with the left hand

140212: #‎ShatteredElbow Ramble 140212: WooHoo! 45-second forward plank without the elbow hurting, much. Haven't been able to do one since before the shattering, when I just returned to over a minute in a plank.

Shattering Update #140421: Ever since The Shattering, my motivation for the gym has been decreasing to where I am not much even motivated to remotivate my motivation.

140423: Uff da. Never saw this coming. Never had this before. First major trip tomorrow since The Shattering, and the anxiety is overwhelming. Xanax isn't helping even with just packing for this weekend Amtrak get-away. Whee.

Shattering Update #140504: First time since the Shattering that I was able to shave my head with the left arm participating.

Shattering Update #140710: Dear Friends who Tailor, I have a project with which I would like to commission you. I am in want of a sleeve that I can wear at night to help keep my elbow from getting so chilled. Thoughts?

140720: Why I do declare. I do believe that I can say definitively that this is the first time since after The Shattering that all clothes and linens are properly folded and stored away in their correct locations. Whew.

140720: Happy FIRST Anniversary to "The Shattering" RoadTrip with June Miller, Emma Miller, and Jinny Miller!

Shattering Update #140910: Scratch that last post! This just in, BREAKING NEWS! Are you ready for this? Remember that dead spot I have been anxiously awaiting to conquer? I CAN TOUCH THE LEFT SIDE OF MY NECK WITH MY LEFT HAND! Hurts like the DICKENS, but I CAN TOUCH THE LEFT SIDE OF MY NECK WITH MY LEFT HAND! Almost can touch my left shoulder with my left hand as well. Thank you Lord Above! I can't stop giggling and crying. Happy Dance, but on a dry and stable surface, of course (-;

Shattering Update #140922: Well, mark off stuffing and sealing boxes in the bindery there at work as something the elbow simply just does not want to participate in just yet. Uff da.
